Lemon Butter Loveliness

The Hickerson baby shower was very nice- the food was better than I even thought! Brandy didn't cry until the end (either did I) and she looked great- it was good to see all the other chicks, too and shoot the breeze for the afternoon. Baby H. is off to a good start thanks to all the great shoppers out there.

I Am Finally Bored

I haven't been bored for a long time. When I get a minute to myself, I usually stare at a wall, and this is surprisingly unboring. Today, however, I felt bored. Mike took AJ to his 15 month well check and I am going to a baby shower in about 45 minutes, so I have had over an hour to myself during which no one was napping, so I could be loud if I wanted to be. But after a bit, I found that I was wandering around looking for someone to play with.

Lunch will be served at this shower and I am excited about that, I must say. Brandy deserves a "kick ass" shower as I have heard it put, so I am sure her Girls will not disappoint. I charged my camera and packed PLENTY of kleenex in my purse. This occation has been a long time coming and I am honored to be attending...

Farewell MacBook

So I gotta give back this mac today.  Big bummer as AJ and I had some more fun with photobooth.  Of course I did work on it- but that was not as fun as foolong around.  And then we danced to Madonna because the speakers are way better than my Lenovo.  

Parent teacher conferences

Here it is the end of another parent teacher conference day and almost none of my parents came to visit.  I am truly sad, however, I was able to play with and experiment with an iMac.  I have been slowly and rather haltingly beginning to understand the differences between this fabulous machine and Windows.  I do NOT mss windows...

And I have been having a grand time playing with Photo Booth...

Mike and I will have to take some snaps of us and AJ later this evening- more to come.
